Foundation Manager
Community Connection, Miller Freeman, San Francisco, California, 1990–92.
Served as the first manager of an innovative nonprofit foundation within a large, for-profit publishing company. Coordinated employee volunteers and corporate donations to support local projects focused on homelessness, literacy, AIDS, and the environment. Foundation was honored by the White House during its first year of operation. Twenty years later, it continues to serve the San Francisco Bay Area community.
