Only 80 miles apart, yet Antep and Urfa couldn't be more different. Antep is young, dynamic, friendly—as tourist destinations go, it's a well-kept secret. Urfa is old, conservative, cynical. It's also where a kid threw a huge rock at my head when I wouldn't give him money for guiding (i.e., following) me around. I'll go back to Antep someday, but not Urfa.
